HSRC facilitates the meetings of the Humboldt Council on Estate Planning and Elder Care. The Council meets six times per year to provide regular opportunities to share information and collaborate with other local professionals, including estate-planning attorneys, accountants, financial planners, professional fiduciaries, and community members who specialize in elder care issues.

Membership is open to attorneys, CPAs, fiduciaries, investment advisors, and other related professionals practicing on the North Coast. Council activities help professionals stay abreast of changes in the law and tax codes and learn about resources to help clients.

Presentations provide professional education for members, their staff, and interested community members and elder care professionals.  Continuing education credits (MCLE) are available for attorneys from the California State Bar.

All meetings are held at the Sequoia Conference Center in Eureka from 11:45 am to 1:15 pm.  Lunch is included.  Reservations are recommended, but walk-ins are welcome.

The annual cost of membership is $100. Members can attend the continuing education luncheon for a reduced fee of $35 per session; the nonmember fee is $50.

To join the Council, please see the membership form found here.
