HSRC facilitates the meetings of the Humboldt Council on Estate Planning and Elder Care. The Council meets six times per year to provide regular opportunities to share information and collaborate with other local professionals, including estate-planning attorneys, accountants, financial planners, professional fiduciaries, and community members who specialize in elder care issues.

Membership helps professionals stay abreast of changes in the law and tax codes and learn about resources to help clients.

Presentations provide professional education for members, their staff, and interested community members and elder care professionals.  Continuing education credits (MCLE) are available for attorneys from the California State Bar.

All meetings are held at the Sequoia Conference Center in Eureka.  Lunch is included.

The annual cost of membership is $150 for the first professional member of a firm and $75 for each additional professional. Membership entitles member firms’ staff to attend the continuing education sessions for a reduced fee of $30 each. Professional members of the firm who do not wish to join the Council may attend meetings for $45 per session.

To join the Council, please see the membership form found here.

Upcoming 2023 meetings and speakers are:
