The Humboldt Council on Estate Planning and Elder Care is a professional organization, with membership is open to attorneys, CPAs, fiduciaries, investment advisors, and other related professionals practicing on the North Coast.

Council activities help professionals stay abreast of changes in the law and tax codes and also provide education regarding resources for their clients. The annual cost of membership is $100 per person. To join the Council, please see the membership form found here.

The Council hosts educational luncheon meetings six times per year for local professionals including estate-planning attorneys, accountants, financial planners, professional fiduciaries, and other community members whose work touches on elder care issues.  HSRC is accredited to offer MCLE credit to attorneys who attend these meetings and meet the California State Bar requirements.  All educational luncheons are held at the Sequoia Conference Center in Eureka from 11:45 am to 1:15 pm.  Lunch is included in the course fee; members can attend the continuing education luncheon for a reduced fee of $35 per session; the nonmember fee is $50.  Reservations are recommended, but walk-ins are welcome.
