Director of Human Resources – Administration – This full-time position is at our Eureka location. Employment application, resume, and letter of interest required.  Open until filled, with first review by mid-October. Qualified candidates will have a bachelor’s degree in human resource management or related field, and at least 5 years of experience in human resources management in a diverse organization with more than 100 employees.  Candidates must also have a valid California Driver’s License, good driving record, and personal auto liability insurance.  HRCI-PHR or SHRM-CP certification preferred.

DriverTransportation We have two positions open for drivers: 1.  Substitute Driver: hours will vary, and location will vary between Eureka and Fortuna. 2. Full-time driver: 40 hours/week, located in Fortuna.  Employment application and resume required.  Open until filled. Qualified candidates must have a high school diploma or GED equivalent, 1 year of experience working in a transportation discipline, or California Driver’s License (Commercial Class C with Passenger endorsement, or Class B with Passenger endorsement or the ability and willingness to train and obtain either within 2 months of hire), and good driving record (accident-free driving record with no moving violations within the last 3 years), and ability to pass DOT physical.  One  year of experience working with a frail or elderly population preferred.  Current CPR and First Aid certification required within 6 months of hire.

Custodian – AdministrationWe have a position open for a Substitute Custodian; hours variable.  Employment application and resume required.  Open until filled. Preferred qualifications include: experience in custodial tasks and knowledge of proper cleaning techniques, experience cleaning and sanitizing commercial kitchen, and experience with maintaining floors: stripping, waxing, and buffing floors as well as carpet cleaning.

Registered Nurse (RN)  Redwood Coast PACE We have a position open for a Registered Nurse (RN), full- or part-time, located at either our Eureka or Fortuna site.  Employment application, resume, and letter of interest required.  Open until filled. Qualified candidates must be a graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing and must be a current Registered Nurse licensed by the California Board of Registered Nursing, in good standing.  One year working with a frail or elderly population preferred, preferably with background in public health nursing.  Valid California Driver’s License, good driving record, and personal auto liability insurance required.  Must have a personal vehicle in good driving/operating condition.  Current CPR and First Aid Certification required within 6 months of hire.

Center Manager – PACE  – We have two full-time openings; one at our Eureka location and one at our Fortuna location. Employment application, resume, and letter of interest required.  Open until filled. Qualified candidates will have a bachelor’s degree in Nursing or other advanced degree in Social Work, Public Health, or related discipline.  Five (5) years of experience in health care or social services with at least 2 years supervisory experience required.  Minimum 1 year working with frail or elderly population preferred.  Candidates must also have a valid California Driver’s License, good driving record, and personal auto liability insurance.

Receptionist / Center CoordinatorRedwood Coast PACE This full-time position is at our Fortuna Center. Employment application, resume, and letter of interest required.  Open until filled. Qualified candidates must have a high school diploma or GED equivalent, 2-3 years of administrative experience (preferably in the healthcare field), and minimum of 1 year working with a frail or elderly population preferred.

 CareParter (In-Home) – Redwood Coast PACEBoth full-time and part-time positions are available, working in participants’ homes throughout our Humboldt County service area (Scotia to Trinidad, and inland to Blue Lake and Carlotta).  Employment application and resume required.  Open until filled. Qualified candidates must have a high school diploma or GED and minimum 1 year experience working with elderly or frail population, preferably providing personal care in a health facility or in-home setting.  Valid California Driver’s License, good driving record, and personal auto liability insurance required.  Must have a personal vehicle in good driving/operating condition.  Current CPR and First Aid Certification required within 6 months of hire.
