Each year, the Humboldt Senior Resource Center’s Senior Nutrition program provides thousands of nutritious meals to older adults in Humboldt County — through Meals on Wheels Redwood Coast, at Pop-Up meal pick-up sites, and at Heritage Cafés. For many participants, these “Meals in Motion” are not only their most reliable source of nutrition, but also a vital point of personal connection and self-care.

In 2025, Meals in Motion will serve more than 40,000 meals to older adults in need—and you can be part of making that possible through  one of our sponsorship opportunities.

Why Sponsor Meals in Motion?

Meals in Motion sponsorships are a way for businesses or individuals to help fund the meals that HSRC’s Senior Nutrition Program provides to its program participants. Why should you consider a Meals in Motion sponsorship?

  • Local impact: Your sponsorship helps reduce food insecurity and social isolation among older adults in our community.
  • Promote your values: Sponsorship demonstrates your or your organization’s commitment to compassion, dignity, and community support.
  • Brand recognition: Sponsors are featured on table signage and printed materials, with customizable options based on sponsorship level.

 Sponsorship Levels

Meals in Motion has three sponsorship level opportunities:

  • Heart of the Café Sponsor – $500: Includes recognition on table placards at each Heritage Café site (Arcata, Eureka, and Fortuna)
  • Meals on Wheels Route Partner – $250: Includes logo placement on meal delivery inserts, recognition on social media and our website, and a featured shout-out in a thank-you campaign
  • Meals on the Move Sponsor – $150: Three mobile locations in McKinleyville, Rio Dell and Willow Creek reach more than 150 people weekly

Custom sponsorship packages are also available. We can help you find the right fit for your business, family, or group. Together, we can ensure no older adult in Humboldt County goes hungry—or feels forgotten.
