Women and men dining together at Eureka dining site

Please note that during the pandemic we are providing modified Nutrition Services, including “Grab & Go” meals at our Senior Dining Centers.  See our News and Announcements page for the latest updates.

For the health and safety of older adults and other members of our community, we have temporarily closed our Senior Dining Centers.  In the meantime, we are offering weekly packages of “Grab & Go” meals available at each dining site per the following schedules:

  • Eureka:   Pick-up on Tuesdays from 11:30 a.m. – 12:15 p.m. at the Humboldt Senior Resource Center, 1910 California Street; phone 707-443-9747 ext 1242 for reservations. Enter the parking lot using the California Street driveway; staff will guide you where to go.

Meals are available by reservation only for those age 60 and older along with their spouse. Reservations must be made no later than 7 days prior to pick-up day.  Call the Senior Dining Center of your choice to make your reservations or for questions about the week’s menus. Each take-out package will include a variety of five meals. All dining sites are handicap-accessible and can be reached on city bus and Dial-A-Ride routes.

For diners age 60 and older, the suggested donation is $3.50 per meal; however, no diner 60 or older will be turned away if unable or unwilling to donate.  Diners younger than 60 are welcome; their fee is $6.00 per lunch.
