Humboldt Senior Resource Center’s Home Delivered Meals program provides nutritious meals to frail, homebound elders who are no longer physically or mentally able to to shop or prepare meals for themselves. Meals can be delivered to  elders living in Arcata, Eureka, Fortuna, and McKinleyville.

The meals are delivered to clients’ homes by friendly, courteous drivers who also provide an informal safety check for each client.  Home Delivered Meals assist seniors in maintaining good health through adequate nutrition and help them to continue living at home.

For at-home diners age 60 and older, the suggested donation is $3.50 per meal; however, no one age 60 or older will be denied meals if unable  to donate.

For more information or to arrange for Home Delivered Meals service, call 707-443-9747 ext. 1221, or contact the Senior Dining Center in your community (see the Nutrition Contacts page for each center’s phone number).

Humboldt Senior Resource Center is a proud member of Meals on Wheels America.
