Did you know that in the United States almost one in every 12 older adults age 60+ is considered “food insecure”? They do not have the resources to obtain the food they need. Those with disabilities or chronic illnesses are even more likely to go hungry. You may even know a senior who is food insecure and not even realize it. It could be your neighbor, your friend, your relative.

In our community, HSRC helps alleviate food insecurity in older adults with Home Delivered Meals, Congregate Dining, and other programs. But we need your support. Recent Sequestration cuts have impacted funding for our nutrition programs. Please help us and
