POSITION: DIRECTOR OF FINANCE - Be a part of the Humboldt Senior Resource Center. The Director of Finance is an important member of the HSRC Management Team. Shall be responsible for the agency’s fiscal operations and works with the Executive Director to determine short and long term financial strategies for the agency. Qualifications: Must have a Bachelors in Accounting and five (5) years progressively responsible fiscal management experience. Experience to include supervisory responsibilities and working for an organization with a budget of $2 million or above. A CPA with a background in government or non-profit environment, fund accounting and a background in Medicare/Medi-Cal funding is strongly preferred. POSITION:  LICENSED VOCATIONAL NURSE – SUBSTITUTE, ADULT DAY HEALTH & ALZHEIMER’S SERVICES.  Under the direction of the Supervising Registered Nurse, this position assists with participant care, documentation, coordination, supervision, advocacy and community education. POSITION: Alzheimer’s Services Coordinator–Alzheimer Services.  Join the ADH&AS team to coordinate the daily operation of the Alzheimer Services. Duties include operation management with community and intra-agency interactions. Shall have a working knowledge of and maintain compliance with Title 22 and other regulations governing the program. POSITION: Driver/Program Aide: Adult Day Health Services. This position combines being a Driver with working as a Program Aide. A Driver is responsible for the safe transport of participants to and from the day program. The Program Aide assists with therapeutic services to program participants. $10.02/hr. Mon.-Fri. The PACE Social Worker is an important member of the PACE Interdisciplinary Team. Qualifications: MSW required, licensed preferred, with at least one year experience working with an elderly population and knowledge of local community services for the elderly and their families. POSITION: SUBSTITUTE FOOD SERVICE AIDE--IMMEDIATE OPENINGS. Responsible for food handling and clean up at various HSRC dining sites including Eureka, Fortuna and Arcata. Clean, wash, and prepare food service equipment and home delivered meals carriers. Assume other duties in the preparation and serving of meals under the direction of the Food Service Manager. Must have previous kitchen experience, valid Food Safety Manager Certificate, Food Handlers card or ServSafe certification. Ability to stand for extended time and lift up to 40 lbs. M-F 7am to 1:30pm with some variable hours at times. Subs can work up to five days/week in our busy central kitchen or other sites.
