The Home Delivered Meal Program in Fortuna has expanded from 2 days a week hot meal delivery to 4 days a week. We are currently looking at expanding to 5 days a week. We currently need volunteers from 10:45a.m.-12:00p.m. on Monday and Friday to help deliver meals to home bound seniors. Volunteer weekly, bimonthly or monthly; it only takes 1 hour of your day! Become a volunteer and provide nourishment to your heart and to seniors in your community!

The Alzheimer’s Resource Center in Eureka welcomes volunteers to help out in its medically licensed therapeutic day center. We offer a variety of volunteer opportunities from clerical support to socializing with participants. The center is open Monday-Friday from 9-2:30.
