Senior News is a 24-page monthly newspaper distributed along a 150-mile stretch of the Northwest California coast. Senior News has been published by the Humboldt Senior Resource Center since 1981 telling stories of local seniors and local issues of importance to seniors, their families and caregivers. The small staff is augmented by community volunteer writers, an editorial advisory board and by senior volunteers who distribute Senior News newspapers to more than 100 locations from Crescent City to Garberville.
Circulation: 13,000 monthly: 5,000 distributed from Garberville to Crescent City; 8,000 included in the last Tuesday issue of the Times-Standard for subscribers.
